Cuddles goes trick-or-treating dressed as a vampire. He encounters an actual vampire, Vampy, who flings himself towards the rabbit to suck his blood. A second vampire, Count Trunkula, does the same from the opposite direction. At the last minute, Cuddles wisely ducks, causing the two vampires to bite each other.
The two quickly get affected by their bites and end up swapping species. Cuddles laughs at them until they gang up and attack him - then abruptly leave. Cuddles, upon getting back up, grows a pair of fangs. He realizes in amazement that he has truly became a vampire. But his reaction changes when he also develops a beaver tail and a trunk. To make matters worse, the sun rises and his body melts, leaving behind only a skeleton.
