"Better Hot Than Ever" is a HTFF episode.
Plot
Toothy has just arrived at the cafe. He sits down at the counter where Joe is having her latte. Petunia comes in to get his order. Toothy wants chili. Petunia writes down his order and warns him that it could be really hot. Toothy shrugs as Petunia serves him his bowl of chili. As Toothy eats it, he finds out how hot it is. Suddenly, his eyes turn red with tears as he breathes out fire from his mouth. Petunia shields herself from the fire with a platter as Toothy tries to find something to stop the heat. He picks up Joe thinking she is a cup of coffee. He ends up burning her before running out of the cafe to find water. Joe is still on fire until Petunia splashes her with a pitcher of water, then Joe faints from the burns.
Toothy runs through town trying to find water. He runs past Showers who is putting out fire from a burning bush. Showers sees him in trouble, then pursues him to put out his fire-breathing mouth. Tango is dancing when Toothy runs past him with fire hitting him, making him do the hot dance. Showers shoots water from his trunk at Tango as he performs his last dance before turning into ashes. Kazamie is walking by until she sees Toothy running with a fiery mouth which she dodges, but her hat burns up as Toothy runs past her. Kazamie sadly looks through her top hat which now has a hole in it from the fire.
Pastel is walking with her umbrella until she sees Toothy. She protects herself with the umbrella as Toothy's fiery mouth hits it, completely burning through Pastel and making her scream. Showers shoots water at her, who has turned into ashes. Scrambella is carrying a pie but she does not know that Toothy is running past her, burning the pie and her chef hat as well as roasting her head. Showers shoots water at her, leaving her with a cooked brain as she dies.
Toothy's mouth is burning even more as he keeps running and screaming in his efforts to find water. Showers pants when trying to catch up to Toothy. Binky, who is flying like a hero, sees Toothy as he begins to try to fly away from him, but Toothy brushes past him, burning him like a roasted bird. Toothy then bumps into a pole and falls down, just in time for Showers to arrive and shoot water into his mouth, making the fire stop. Toothy sighs as he faints with a burned mouth, while Showers sighs with a glee.
Later at the hospital, Toothy is breathing through his oxygen tube to heal his burning mouth as he looks at Joe next to him, all bandaged up from the fire and looking straight at him. As the episode ends, Kazamie tries to use her burnt hat for a show which disappoints the audience as she ends up with a sad look.
