Trixie purchases a chocolate bar from a store and unwraps it, attracting unwanted attention in the form of a certain green squirrel. Nutty jitters hungrily as Trixie tries to hold him back. Cotton exits the store with a wagon full of candy, which distracts Trixie long enough for Nutty to snatch her chocolate bar and eat it. Enraged, Trixie puts a spell on him.
Unaware to what just happened, Nutty proceeds with his daily routine. Cro-Marmot's ice cream truck arrives at the beach and Nutty is the first customer. He takes a bite out of an ice cream cone, but quickly feels like he's getting sick. In an attempt to swallow the ice cream, he instead wounds up puking, to the disgust of a nearby Paws. After coughing out a cherry on top of the puked out ice cream scoop, Nutty leaves, and Random eats it, subsequently causing Paws to vomit as well.
Nutty arrives at the clinic and is told by Sniffles that he has developed a sugar allergy. Nutty refuses to believe this and storms off. As he walks down the street, he comes across a gumball machine and checks his pockets for money. Trixie happens to be encounter him and offers a coin. Nutty recieves a gumball, chews it, and blows a bubble - but then vomits in the bubble. Trixie laughs at his misfortune before disappearing with a wave of her wand. A curious Random comes to pop the bubble, destroying much of her body and covering Nutty in puke when it bursts.
Everywhere he looks, Nutty sees nothing but sugar. Cub licks a lollipop, Kringle decorates a tree with candy canes, and Bun selling cinnamon buns. The fact that he could no longer eat sugar soon drives him insane. Running around aimlessly, Nutty comes across Cotton's gingerbread-like house. He spies into a window to see all kinds of expensive candies and sweets.
Having lost his mind, Nutty crashes through the walls and devours as much as possible. Cotton enters the room to discover Nutty, now a swollen, bloated monster, eating everything. Still hungry, he turns to find Cotton and lunges at him. Nutty eats much of Cotton's wool along with some flesh, when he suddenly hiccups, inflating more and more as he does. A giant gum bubble emerges from his mouth, soon encasing Cotton's home and floating up in the air. Then it explodes, killing Nutty and Cotton.
A passing Trixie takes pleasure in the candies raining down from the sky. Unfortunately, Cotton's house crashes down on her.
Deaths[]
- Half of Random's body is destroyed when she bursts a puke-filled gum bubble.
- Cotton and Nutty die when Nutty's bubble explodes.
- Trixie is crushed by Cotton's house.
Trivia[]
- This marks Cotton's first death.
- Random's death is somewhat similar to Lammy's in Spare Tire.
