Just Down the Writers Block is a fanon episode of HTF. In this episode, Hawkeye tries to think about her secondth book.

Plot

Hawkeye proudly reads an article on the newspaper, stating that her latest book The Hawk has become a bestseller. She decides to write a sequel to her book, so she pulls out her pen and paper. Hawkeye starts by writing about her recent growth spurt. She stops there, due to writers block, and goes out for more inspiration.

At the beach, Hawkeye look for stuff to write down. She spots Russell fighting a giant squid, Fish Stick having caught a huge swordfish, and Cub beating Handy in a sandcastle-building contest. Hawkeye proceeds to write everything down. Suddenly, a fishing hook pierces her paper and it gets swiped away. 

Cranky is shown to be responsible for this. He is on a motorboat, along with Snooty looking at her reflection in the water. Hawkeye calls over in the distance to tell them about her paper. But Cranky just argues, oblivious of the paper on his fishing hook, getting increasingly soaked. Hawkeye eventually flips out, flies into the boat, and attacks Cranky.

Snooty jumps into the water to escape, but is killed when Cranky pulls on the motor. The boat speeds across the water. Scurvy is seen on his ship, about to make Squabbles walk the plank. He sees Cranky's boat and tries to hit it with cannonballs. Scurvy's evil laughter prompts Hawkeye to drive the boat into his ship. An explosion occurs, followed by the sinking of Scurvy's ship.

Surviving the impact, Hawkeye flies off with the papers in her beak, carrying Squabbles to safety. She sees a trampoline on the ground and drops Squabbles from there. Unfortunately, Sturdy climbs on the trampoline and Squabbles smashes onto his shell. Hawkeye rests on a hill from this exhausting experience, and realizes she has developed her inspiration.

The Hawk 2: Sea Hawk is later published. Hawkeye reads the newspaper that it has also become a bestseller. She decides to make a third book, but once again suffers from writers block. 

Deaths

1. Snooty is shredded by the motor.
2. Cranky is mauled by Hawkeye.
3. Scurvy is killed in the crash.
4. Squabbles is dropped on Sturdy's shell. 

Trivia

• This episode is similar to Artist Block, because they both involve characters looking for inspiration.
• Starting here, Hawkeye is slightly taller than her last appearance (Rude Feud). This was mentioned in her book. 
• All the featuring characters die, but none of the starring or appearing characters.
• This is the first time Hawkeye kills someone (Squabbles) by accident.
