Plot

Deleted scene found on Season 38 DVD is italic

At the Happy Tree Cafe, many citizens are dining. Hippy takes Nutty's order, in which Nutty says in clear english "Chocolate Cake". Hippy looks on the menu, but no cake is there. Nutty asks for anything candy. Hippy shakes his head and Nutty walks out in disapproval.

Deafy is in the kitchen, making a sandwich. Wooly rings a bell, calling Deafy for an order, but Deafy can't hear him. Wooly tells him to cook a grilled cheese sandwich, but once again Deafy does not notice. Wooly pulls Deafy by his turtleneck over to him and writes a note telling him what to cook.

Wooly walks out of the kitchen to notice lots of customers mad at the waiter holding them up. Wooly quickly goes to Derpy, who orders a coffee, then Gutsy, who orders a hamburger with ketchup on it squirted into the shape of a bicycle, then Baldy, who realizes nothing good is on the menu and leaves, and then Meaty, who orders as many vegetables he can.

Wooly gives Deafy another whole list of orders. Deafy gets tired and doesn't notice that his grilled cheese sandwich is overcooking. It sets fire and Deafy flees, telling all to abandon the restaurant. Derpy flips her table over and flies out, Meaty runs as quick as he can, only to crash into a pole, and before it falls over, Derpy crashes into it too and it falls and kills the two.

Hippy drives away, running over many GTFs, and Wooly just puts on his vacation hat and walks away. Nutty puts a quarter in a gumball machine, but then Deafy runs into it and it crushes Nutty. Deafy continues running until he is run over by Hippy. Hippy screams and stops, and is then pulled over by the police.

Moral

Don't overcook the food!

Trivia

• This is the first episode where a crossover character has as much on-screen time as a background HTF, as in a scripted character.
  • The crossover character (Derpy) also dies in the episode.

• On Lumpy's list of orders, "The Zebra" can be seen on the list, along with other random names like "Who The What", "Fat Guy", "Daredevil-Like Idiot" (referring to Gutsy), and "Derpy Hooves". Names after that are too small to read.
• This episode's deleted scene can only be seen on the Season 38 DVD.
