Quist and Spaz run into each other. They to play with their toys Nuppet and Nectar. Quist soon closes her eyes laughing at the fun they're having. Doing this, however, she is unable to notice her puppet cutting Nectar in half with a sword. A horrified and vengeful Spaz uses the sword to attack Nuppet, slicing off Quist's arm in the process. As Quist flees, Spaz mourns the loss of her friend and then stabs herself in the chest with the sword.
But Quist really likes Nectar.
After having her wound treated, Quist is saddened not only by the loss of her appendage, but the loss of Nuppet. But soon she stumbles upon the upper half of Nectar. She decides to make Nectar her new puppet and goes to play with it. Watching from underneath a fence is the discarded Nuppet, who apparently sheds a tear from his eye.
Later, Quist hosts a puppet show featuring her new pal. A few spectators gather to watch, but so does Nuppet. One of the audience members, Squabbles, discovers Nuppet on his hand. The puppet makes him punch a nearby Pierce, disappearing instantly just before Squabbles gets beaten to a pulp.
The fight causes a ruckus which Quist tries to settle. While she is distracted, Nuppet lunges at Nectar and bites off Quist's other hand. The spectators are horrified, except Pierce who applauds at the carnage. Quist turns her head to find Nuppet and reclaims him.
Despite losing both her hands, Quist happily wears Nuppet and Nectar over her ears while continuing the puppet show, even though everyone has left. Offscreen, her ears suddenly get sliced off, presumably by Nuppet, who is now shown to have ripped Nectar to pieces.

Trivia[]
- Besides Squabbles and Pierce, other spectators of Quist's puppet show include Petunia, Toothy and Flaky.
- Nuppet seems to have more of a starring role.
