Pumpkin Patched is a HTFF episode.
Plot[]
Coconut lays in his hammock enjoying the warm summer air, but is interrupted by a cool breeze carrying a few red leaves. His helmet is suddenly snatched by Nabby and he chases after the theiving crustacean. The pursuit brings them to the front entrance of a grocery store. They fight over the helmet until it slips out of their grasp and cracks on the ground, to their dismay.
The store manager, Lumpy, comes out to witness a truck full of pumpkins parking outside. He happily takes the pumpkins into his store before dumping out his coconuts for the fall season. Coconut finds that none of them would be able to fit his head and goes to search for a replacement helmet.
Nabby takes advantage of the abandoned coconuts. However, he finds that pumpkins are starting to trend as Espresso is now selling pumpkin spice lattes in the coffee shop across the street. Growing curious, Nabby makes his way there. A passing Leila comes across the coconut pile and decides to take one home.
At the coffee shop, Nabby has his first taste of pumpkin spice and quickly becomes hooked. Espresso holds several lattes with his mustache, until Nabby pulls on it and ends up tearing his face off. Racky is also sipping a latte, when Nabby snips off her hands in order to steal it.
Later, Coconut stumbles into a pumpkin patch and happens upon a jack-o-lantern. He decides to wear it over his head, but is unsure that it suits him. Moments later, Nabby arrives at the pumpkin patch and digs into the bounty. Jack yells at the pest for ruining his harvest. Nabby pulls his head off and eats it.
Soon enough, Nabby has eaten every pumpkin in sight, but is still not satisfied. Emojie shows up at the farm and Nabby catches sight of the little pumpkin in her arms. Hiding himself with a hay bale, he sneaks up on her until he is close enough to swipe the pumpkin out of her grasp, succeeding. Nabby runs away with his prize, only to trip over and squash Emojie's pumpkin. Before he could get back up, Emojie pins him down by impaling him with a scarecrow post. The pumpkin remains on his shirt attract hungry crows that peck him apart.
That evening, Leila carves her coconut like a jack-o-lantern and places it at her front doorstep. Coconut, still wearing his pumpkin helmet, glares at it in confusion, when his head is suddenly sliced off with a scythe. The murderer, Jack, places Coconut's severed head over his shoulders. He passes by the house of Emojie, who reveals that she has turned Nabby's head into her new jack-o-lantern.
