Howdy is at the Grand Canyon on a hot day. He kicks a vending machine which makes a soda can roll out. As he takes a refreshing drink, Nutty comes along as well. Shaking too hard, Nutty gets literally skyrocketed by his soda can. Soon the beverage stops shooting out...right over the gorge, where Nutty falls to his demise.
Howdy decides it is up to him to save the day. He throws a lasso rope over the gorge, grabbing Nutty by the leg just seconds before he could hit the ground. Howdy ties his rope to a post, expecting Nutty to climb the rest of the way up, and leaves to take a celebratory drink.
Nutty sees his can stuck between two rocks, leaking a bit of soda which forms a small puddle. He crawls towards it, unaware that the rope was tied to something. A few birds start drinking out of the puddle, prompting Nutty to continue on. With the rope exceeding its length, he wounds up stretching his torso and spinal cord.
Howdy finishes a can, but still hot and parched, he goes for another drink. Back below the canyon, Nutty finally reaches the soda puddle. However, the rope starts pulling him back, so he holds on to a large rock. The sides of the canyon are pulled closer to each other, and eventually the cracks close up, causing a massive earthquake.
Kendall stands at the edge of the canyon with Tarsy about to photograph her, when the earthquake makes her fall. Tarsy's photo is ruined and he gets crushed by a falling rock. As Fizzles prepares to drink from a soda can, the shaking causes it to blow through her face. After the earthquake passes, the canyon opens up to reveal Nutty's crushed remains.
Luckily, Howdy has survived the earthquake. He sees a lone soda can on the ground, rumbling from the impact of the earthquake. Howdy opens it up and the can explodes on him.

- Nobody survives the episode.
- Nutty's death is similar to Giggles' death in Idol Curiosity. His injury is also similar to The Rat's in Mole on the City.
- Since You Ain't Got Mail, this marks Fizzles' first death.
- Howdy's death is similar to Disco Bear's death in Chew Said a Mouthful.
