Plot[]
Lumpy is at a recording studio with Figaro and Croaky, both singing for his latest track. Lumpy stops them for a minute to tell them he needs one last note - a high note - to end them all. He says whoever gets a higher note gets to be on the cover.
Figaro sings as high-pitched as he can. Croaky follows suit. Both their voices take on similar notes. Lumpy sets the volume at full blast, knocking himself off his chair. He decides neither of the voices are high enough and goes outside to think, giving his headphones to a nearby Cuddles to take over for him.
Outside, Lumpy sees Mime filling his balloons with a helium tank. Lumpy quickly takes the tank and runs back into the studio. Cuddles' head is now splattered due to the high volume. Lumpy struggles to open the helium tank, until smashing a hole through it with a mallet. Then he pushes it in the room where Figaro and Croaky are. Gradually their voices get higher.
The continuous singing leaves both of them literally breathless. Croaky's eyes pop out and she coughs up her guts. Figaro explodes, leaving only his feet and a pile of feathers. Their singing manages to shatter the glass wall, exposing the helium to Lumpy, who shortly succumbs to helium poisoning.
Mime briefly pokes his arm through the door and fills a balloon using the helium inside the studio. It pops, releasing a high-pitched singing voice.
Moral[]
"The higher you get, the lower you sink."

Trivia[]
- Croaky's death is similar to Cuddles' death in "Easy Comb, Easy Go", and Toothy's death in "Peas in a Pod".
- Mime is the only survivor of this episode.
