Take These Broken Wings is the 53rd episode and Season 4 premiere of Creepy Cryptid Friends.
Plot[]
Griff plays soccer against Jersey until the latter flies away kicking the ball. This understandably causes Griff to look back at her missing wings, growing even more frustrated when Hearty flies overhead. Hearty meets up with O'Goyle, who sits motionless on the roof of a church. Hearty accidentally knocks O'Goyle off the edge, but Griff manages to catch him before hitting the ground, discovering he is also missing his wings. Hearty figures she could cheer up the gargoyle, perhaps even win his heart, by giving him new wings.
Griff sets out with Hearty on her quest. After a long walk by Griff and an aerial surveillance by Hearty, the sun goes down and the two consider giving up. Suddenly, they find Lucerna in her stone form. Hearty attempts to break her wings using a hammer, failing to leave even a crack. Griff lifts a large rock and successfully smashes off Lucerna's wings, to Hearty's joy.
Later that night, the two meet up with O'Goyle and glue the stone wings to his nubs. O'Goyle comes to life and discovers his new appendages, immediately going on a test flight. Griff and Hearty look up at the gargoyle enjoying himself, but the moment changes when the latter suddenly gets her wings severed.
Hearty turns to see Lucerna, glaring at her furiously while holding her dismembered wings in each hand. Hearty runs for her life as Lucerna pursues her. Griff looks on at the mischief, until seeing the sun rise. The heat from the sun melts the glue and causes O'Goyle's wings to detach. O'Goyle turns back to stone as he falls, ultimately crushing Hearty as well as shattering to pieces. Lucerna glues her wings back on before returning to stone.
Griff ties Hearty's wings to her arms and attempts to flap off the ground. She manages to lift herself a few feet into the air, until Jersey accidentally kicks the ball at her. The ball deflates from her beak and her face is revealed to have been horribly caved in.
