Plot[]

A large mansion is seen on top of a hill. Out of the door comes Draco, who sets off for a walk across town. He runs into Crank and Grinder, the latter holding a cup. Not willing to trust strangers with his money, Draco looks for a coin on the ground. He picks up a dime which, in his mind, says hello. He gives the dime to Crank, who then starts playing his organ while Grinder dances around.

Later that evening, Draco gets into bed, but hears crying. He assumes someone broke into his home, so he runs downstairs armed with a weapon. But nobody is seen. Then he looks on the floor and sees a sad little penny. The coin tells him that its dime friend rolled outside the door and onto the sidewalk. Draco realizes he made a terrible mistake and goes outside to set things right.

Crank and Grinder are in the streets, performing for Whiskers. Draco sneaks up behind a building, holding the penny, and spots the dime inside Grinder's cup with other coins. Grinder soon stops for a break and walks into a cafe, where he uses a coin in his cup to buy a banana muffin. Draco heads into the cafe and buys something, expecting to retrieve the dime as change. However, he gets a nickel.

The penny tells Draco that the dime is still in Grinder's cup, which is now placed on a table. While Grinder is occupied with his snack, Draco takes the cup and switches it with The Mole's cup of coffee. Crank calls the chimp back outside to continue the job, so Grinder gets up. However, he trips and splashes the coffee into Crank's face. The Mole gives Grinder a $5 bill for the performance.

Back at the mansion, Draco puts the dime in his safe with his other money. But he decides to hold on to the penny, since it may come in handy. This turns out to be true when the penny later helps him win a coin gambling game against Richie. And so Draco begins a new imaginary friendship.

Injuries[]

  1. Crank's face is burnt by coffee.

Trivia[]

  • Toothy appears on the nickel, as beavers do on Canadian nickels.
  • Crank's injury is similar to Giggles' injury in the short Butter Me Up.
  • This episode was originally named Are You Rich or Are You Poor?. This changed because it was too long and not a pun.
