Plot

Russell is sailing his ship with his crew, Leif, Lumpy and Herman when Scurvy pulls up in his ship. Russell looks at Scurvy and is angered when he spots a parrot on his shoulder. Scurvy spots that Russell lacks a parrot and laughs at him before sailing away. Jealous of this, Russell sails to shore and runs off to the pet store.

At the pet store Russell looks at a varity of animals but none suit his needs until he finally spots Squawkie in a cage. Excited by his find, Russell quickly buys Squawkie and takes him to his ship. On his ship, Russell lets Squawkie out of his cage and in return Squawkie hugs him. With his new found pet Russell sets sail.

Things go smoothly until Lumpy (who is mopping the deck) hits Russell in the head with the mops handle. Russell lets out a "Yar!" in pain and is shocked when Squawkie repeats it. Unfortunately, Squawkie won't stop and soon everyone gets annoyed. In an attempt to block out the noise Herman covers his head, only to cut it in half with his claws.

Russell tries to shush Squawkie but he fails and Squawkie merely gets louder. Unable to put up with this, Lumpy swings his mop at Squawkie but Squawkie flies over it and it hits Leif instead, crushing part of his skull. Russell and Lumpy scream at this and Squawkie repeats them in an even louder tone. 

The sound is so bad that Lumpy's head explodes and in an attempt to block out the noise. Russell covers his ears, only to cut his head with his hook. Finally the noise gets to Russell and he snaps, so he grabs Squawkie and throws him overboard. Somehow, Squawkie lands in a small boat that Giggles is sailing. Giggles lets out a squeal in joy at the sight of the colorful Squawkie, who then mimics her.

Deaths

1. Herman cuts his head in half.
2. Leif is hit by a mop handle.
3. Lumpy's head explodes.

Trivia

1. Freaky and Wiggles can be seen at the pet store buying snake food.
2. Whistle is one of the animals Russell looks at in the store.
3. This is the first episode Scurvy survives.
4. This is Squawkie's first starring role. He makes his debut in Tough Enough?.
